Activate your firewall. First of all, do you have SP2 (Service Pack)
installed?
It has a built-in firewall. If not, go here:
Order Windows XP Service Pack 2 on CD (it is FREE)

If you have SP2 installed, go here:
Start>Control Panel>Security Center and activate the Firewall (top of list).
