Perhaps the OP has the resolution set too high?

Aside from your supercilious English corrections, can you address this?

I would say the OP should go into Safe Mode and see if the desktop appears
and then right click on the desktop, go to Properties/Settings and change
the resolution, then change it back and hit apply, OK out and reboot into
normal mode and then install the *drivers* for the TFT monitor from the CD
and change the resolution to the TFT's maximum allowance.

What do you think, Ms Priss?
