If there is a hidden partition on the old drive the floppy likely looks for
it and reinstalls to the original location. So you may not be successful in
trying to point the install location to a second drive. What I would try, if
there is a hidden install partition, would be to clone the entire old drive
to the new drive, remove the old drive, boot off the floppy and see if it
will do the trick that way.
