File open from an editor (notetab pro) fails at
NetworkPlaces\\mach\share\subdir\subdir where there are individual
files as well as more directories.
The file explorer fails just above that:
\\mach\share\subdir HERE
>From command line, since UNC style is not possible, I created a mapped
drive: I:\ (which is really \\mach1\share\subdir)
Then from cmd prompt:
C:\> I: a `dir' here shows the many subdir at this level
cd subdir (one level deeper)
Here a dir shows all subdir again
cd subdir/ (2levels deeper) nothing shows here from command line.
That is:
I:\subdir\subdir <= Here I see no files although many are present.
