I believe that the update file is also called XPSP2.exe. My cd is a copy of
an original XP SP2 update disc.
I have only been using Windows Explorer not Command Prompt. Would this be a
better option?
Yes I can copy all of the other files from the cd OK. I have copied
successfully from the cd to HDD on another pc.
