XP Home install on multiple computers.

Hi,
I bought a computer with XP home addition on it and i want to also install
it on my computer in the living room. I know that with XP it started making
you register to avoid using one disk to install on many computers but i
thought there was a low # (like 3) which your OEM XP Home addition could be
installed on.

could you please let me know if this is correct or what the options may be.
I know i could buy more licenses but i don't want to do that if i am allowed
to install a few times. How much would an extra license run usually?

Thank You, Matt

.
