Re: Wndows authorisation for an FTP server

Hi

I have XP Pro but I don't understand 'IIS'.

The software for the FTP server is TYPsoft and I use DeeEnEss synamic
updater to link to DYNdns.

Getting down to the nitty gritty, I don't really want to activate 'anonymous
account' as this suggests 'open house' if I get a virus.

Also, does 'anonymous account ' mean that anyone can log in to the computer
if they are sitting at my desk?

Ideally, I'd like the FTP server to recognize me (which it does) and then
inform Windows that it is me (administrator) so that I can access the file.

Any further pointers please?
