The method of eliminating the corrupted version of Windows XP depends entirely upon how you have it installed. I'll give you an example.
On one of my computers I have 2 copies of Windows XP and a copy of Windows 2000. Each O/S is installed in its own primary DOS partition. The primary partitions that are not booted are totally hidden from the working/active operating system. To delete one of these operating systems I would just boot up the computer using my Partition Magic floppy disk set and format the associated partition. I could then, if I desired, reinstall the operating system anew and start again clean.
How is YOUR computer set up?
Good on you!
And how does this help the op other than make he/she feel that they asked the question in the wrong place?
John
It told the OP exactly what he needed to do to get help - give some useful information.
I have.
You told him to post additional information about his system as others have. Do you want a gold star for that?
