Thanks for your reply, so you think it is hardware. I have bought some new
memory already, got 512. The machine runs at a snail's pace so maybe you are
right. I'd be interested in hearing what else you think could cause it as
you said it could be multiple causes. Do you think a clean reinstall would
help?
