Anybody know a site discussing problems with specific XP "updates"?

OK, I was tired of running my system with no security updates since 1/2005.
That is what I had to wind it back to after the "black screen of death"
caused by some updates that totally hosed my OS.

I was able to install all the updates from 12/14/04, 1/17/05, 2/8/05, &
2/24/05. I also installed 3/1 Installer and KB 890830 (Malicious SW) from
5/05. However, when I install the following I get the noted errors:

1) KB890923 Cumulative IE updates for Win XP SP2 : causes IE and Windows
explorer to not come up... "Send error report", and restoring to a restore
point does NOT fix it. I am limping along at the moment using the Task
Manager to start things like my newsgroup reader (OE at the moment).

2) The GROUP of the following 4 updates causes me to have to go back to my
XP Pro SP2 CD and take 1/2 hr, doing a "Repair Install" to the system.

KB893066 4/12/05
KB890859 4/12/05
KB885835 4/12/05

I have not tried them one at a time to isolate the problem... I don't have
THAT kind of time... hoping for a website that discusses problems folks have
had with these.

3) KB885250 4/26/05 TBD, I wanted to install it in cronological order.

My system is clean of viruses and adware.
