Re: My Pictures?

I think I figured it out: To insert (embed) a pic into a Yahoo message, it's has to be an HTML message by default. Go to your Yahoo mail page > Mail Options > General Preferences > Composing Emails > make certain 'Compose messages as color and graphics' is chosen here.

If no joy, I'm amazed that it *did* work before, JD!

What changes did you make to your machine between the time it worked and it started not working (e.g., installs/uninstalls, updates, change of default browser or picture viewer)?

Have you tried redoing the 'Make Yahoo Your Default' thingy (http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/ext/ext-09.html)? Note that even that page says, "Once this application is installed, when you send files from Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, you'll be taken to the attachments interface in Yahoo! Mail. At the top of the attachments page, you'll be told where your file is temporarily stored. You can add the file to your message by clicking on "Browse" to find it in the location indicated and then attaching as usual." I'd suspect that you could throw My Pictures into that list of applications.

Well that didn't work PA Bear but thanks. Maybe I didn't explain well
enough. My problem is-I can't get the picture from "My Pictures" to my
SBCYahoo e-mail message. It was fine until about a weeks ago.
I CAN resize it with in My Pictures, but then when my e-mail message
opens, it has the browse feature there. Instead of the message, open,
WITH my picture attached. I hope this makes sense.
Outlook is not my default e-mail, I rarely use outlook.

Thanks, jd
