Ostensibly, MS is just trying to scope out the extent of the problem right
now. Most likely, when they strike back, they will go after the big fish
first, who, after all, are making money selling something they do not have
the rights to and did not pay anything for. That, in my mind, is theft.
Uncle Fred has absolutely nothing to worry about. If you are at all curious
about the kind of fallout that results when MS goes after the little guy,
read the story on the Microscum site (about the chemistry student).
I will toddle over and do that right now. :-)
