I just realized that I am missing something very important in my understanding of 'Simple File Sharing' in Windows XP Home. I have a small Office LAN of 5 computers running XP Home and SFS. We just decided to have user place files in a 'networked shared' location (Shared Documents) for periodic collection. In other words, I created a folder in the Shared Documents folder and set the Shared Documents folder to allow network sharing (level 5). I did this under the Admin account. I know the folder is network shared because the icon of the hand under the folder shows up if I go to My Computer.
The problem is, when one of the users (a Limited account) is logged on and places a file in the said folder, I can't copy the folder from another machine. If I go to the users machine while she is still logged on, the Shared Documents folder does not have the sharing icon indicated. If I log her off and log on as an admin, the sharing icon is back.
I was not aware that network shares (level 4 & 5) were logon specific. How do I set up the shares of all users that may have an account on the machine when I don't have their passwords? I want to set them up such that I can periodically run a script (VBS) on another machine and collect all the files that have been placed in this special shared directory.
Thanks in advance...

Try this:
Start in Safe Mode, login as an admin and set the security for the shared folder so that the Users group has full control permissions for it.
