That's Windows 98 SE's cryptic way of telling you that XP Pro denied
access because it didn't recognize the user who requested it.

Create an account on the XP Pro machine (ws1) with the same user name
and password that you use to log onto the Win98SE machine. If the
shared resources on XP Pro have the default "Everyone" permission,
that will solve the problem.
