to open in Notepad. You can change them back if you can get to Control
Panel/Folder Options/File Types/I believe dll is not reflected by default
but you can select "New"", type "dll" [less quotes]/click "Advanced", then
select "application extension'' [be SURE not to select anything else]/apply
and OK your way out. I believe your problem will then be fixed.
