Re: Freezing when pressing keyboard key

My computer has taken to freezing when I press a key (any key) after start-up and I have to keep rebooting until it gives in and then operates OK. Once it's OK it stays that way until I restart and then I may have to try booting half a dozen times before it works OK. Is this likely to be cured by uninstalling and then reinstalling the keyboard driver? I'm sure it's not the keyboard itself.

Try reinstalling and see what happens. Also try another keyboard. If it's PS2, then try usb, or the opposite.
