You didn't mention HP but I've had it with those. Like you said, no CD
for a repair installation. They come with at least a half dozen HP
processes running in the background, and now they're coming preinstalled
with Wild Tangent! Whenever I'm called on the set one up for someone,
Wild Tangent is the first thing to go, then most all the HP processes
come out of the startup group. All bloat, IMHO.
