I can't install any programs

I just recently purchased a new motherboard and processor, the chaintech
sk8t800 and the amd athlon 64 3000+ and I can't install any software. When
i'm installing the software I get an error message saying I have corrupt cab
files. when I try to install the service pack 2 cd upgrade I get a File
Corrupt error message. I can't even play any games my whole system reboots
and I get a access violation error log in the game folder. I can't even
install any drivers I keep getting error messages. What is wrong?????? I
submitted an error report to microsoft and all they said was it was a driver.
What driver????
