Dear Byte and ralgam...I too get this error, but it occurs randomly, not on
every reboot...I do have a printer/scanner and a joystick always connected
and my computer will start-up without the error most-of-the-time. For
example, I last saw the error about 2 days ago (approx. 3-5 reboots ago). I
do send the "error report" to Microsoft and it says they are aware of the
problem and are working on a solution to the problem.
