As far as I know, Spybot doesn't automatically block anything, it's a
scanning application but you might want to check its options to be sure. I
don't know anything about Xoftspy but I'd check it out as well. Also, if
you have your own firewall, check to see if the XP Firewall is also enabled.
If yes, turn it off as you don't need two and it's possible it might be
blocking the download. You should be able to find the firewall in Control
Panel.
