Re: Using old PC as hard disc storage

KMV (keyboard-Mouse-Video) switches are not very expensive. These allow you
to run two computers off the same keyboard, mouse and monitor. I have an
old 98SE Gateway PC next to my new Dell XP machine that I use just for
backup (and to occasionally check a 98 feature for help). I installed a
second 80 gig Hard Drive in the Gateway, partitioned into two drives and use
these to backup both my XP and my wife's XP via the home network.
Works great. The KMV switch allows me to access the Gateway for maintenance
and other 98 support.
