Hi, Anthony. I suggested installing the resource kit and running
those commands only on the base PC, not on both of them. However, I
don't think that doing it on the laptop can cause problems.
Did you type the "net" and "ntrights" commands EXACTLY as shown? If
not, they can fail without giving an error message. Please type them
again, on the base PC only, using upper and lower case letters exactly
as shown. I made a mistake in my previous message by saying that you
should use "Start | Run | cmd" to open a command prompt window. Type
the commands in the window that opens when you run the command shell.
Type the "exit" command to close the command shell window.
You can copy/paste each of the three commands from this news group
message into the command shell. After copying a command, right-click
the command shell window, click Paste, and press Enter.
