User Profile Question

Hello,

I have a question about user profiles that I need some help with.

In our environment, we generally make a standard desktop configuration (i.e.
same icons, settings, etc.). However, as a user gets this PC and continues
to use it, they're going to customize it to their own liking. Now, let's
assume that the person leaves the company and I want to transition this PC
to the new user. I can easily change the PC name and all that stuff, but
how could I get back that vanilla desktop that the previous user started
with?

Are there any utilities out there that will let you select a specific
desktop and make that the default for all new users. I don't want to go to
a "mandatory profile" as I think these don't allow for customizability.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Dave
