Moving from 98 to XP - MSN Hotmail issue

We want to get archived email on a 98 Box to our new XP machine. We are
using MSN8 and Hotmail on the XP box. We have upwards near 300GB of archived
mail in a .dbx file created with MSN6 on the 98 box. How can we get that
email to show up on the XP box? Can we drop the .dbx file in a particular
folder and MSN8 will find it? Is there a way to import it?

The closest solution we've found is sending it back to the Hotmail server
from the 98 box and downloading it again on the XP box. This solution is
impractcal because of the large number of emails (years worth) and the fact
that this method changes the date of the emails (which is undesirable).
