RE: Send/Receive is not working

I'm going to assume you are using Outlook Express for e-mail (since you did
not specify). Your settings to send outgoing mail immediately may not be
turned on for some reason. Try these steps from OE.
1) Open OE
2) Click on Tools > Options
3) Click on the 'Send' tab.
4) Make sure 'Send messages immediately' is checked.
5) Click OK
