i dont want my folders in documents when i click on the start menu

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

when i click on the start menu and go to documents there is a huge list of my
folders visable, i want to get rid of it but not the file, i dont like the
huge list when i dont need it there, does any1 know how to get rid of it? if
so pls reply- thx!
