Hi Steve
I tried pinging from the base to the laptop and all resolved okay name
and IP address. I have also pinged from the laptop to the base pc and
it also resolves the name and ip address.
The error when trying to access the laptop from the base is
"\\computername is not accessible. You might not have permission to
use this network resource.
Contact the administrator of this server to see if you have access
permissions.
Access denied"
from the laptop to the base pc the error is
"\\computername is not accessible. You might not have permission to
use this network resource.
Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permission.
Logon failure the user has not been granted the requested logon type
at this computer."
These computer have both had virus's in the past could this have any
effect.
Regards
Anthony
