Did you check for an updated BIOS? Has the system every run XP? Is it really
capable of running XP? Check the manufacturers web site for XP related
updates and advice. You have probably done all this, but you didn't include
the info that you did. What is the make and model of the
computer/motherboard? It helps if we are all on the same page.
If you are dead set on installing XP, the link below has links to specilized
floppy XP setup boot disk and info on using it. This is not the MS six
floppy disk set, it is a modified Win 98/Me startup floppy with everything
needed to run setup if booting from CD is not an option.
