Windows XP Admin

Hi,
I wonder if someone can help me?
My computer was set up a couple of years ago with my wife named as the admin.
Unfortunatly, she died earlier this year, and it's quite distressing for me
to keep seeing her name crop up in file names, cookies etc.
I have tried to find how to change this but to no avail.
It it a case of having to re-install Windows XP - if so, how do I save
everything I have without saving here details?
