Screen Fonts

I have an e-mail program that uses an OCR type font for the Subject and body
text.
To confirm it is the system, I loaded the same program under MSVirtual PC
and it works fine.
How do I change the font that is used for filling in the e-mail typing
space. This does not occur on most problems. Only two.
