Thanks Anna, my post was more of an enquiry than a problem and you are right
I did envisage that when I set up my old hardrive as a slave drive that I
would be able to access it through my desktop but it is not a top priority
and I can live with the way it is set up at the moment. Looking back on
hindsight now it was maybe a ridiculous expectation but on the positive side
I have learned another skill and have hours of more skills to be learned
negotiating my way round my old hard drive in it's present format.
