Need to COMPLETELY disable Windows firewall

I don't mean simply turn it off, I need to completely obliterate it and everything it and any other network stupidity SP2 did to my machine. I need to have SP2 in order to support my users properly.
Since installing SP2 mapped drives on Netware servers do not reconnect at startup and when I try to reconnect or browse to them manually I am denied access and then told the network name cannot be found, example:
"\\Nwpths1\APPS is not accessible. You might not have permissions to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of the server to find out if you have access permissions.
The network name cannot be found."
I _AM_ the administrator of the server. I can login manually browsing through the NDS tree. Another anomoly is even when I locate a server object in the tree opening it shows it as empty and I am not authenticated to it. Yet another is that in Netware Services, Netware Server I only see servers I am attached to instead of all NW servers on the wire like in pre-SP2.
Another net-admin told me there are some registry items that need to be changed to correct this but couldn't remember them. I have changed a couple of things concerning the firewall (override firewall and override a/v) but they have had no effect at all. My a/v is set to not scan network drives.
Any help appreciated. Thanks, Steve .
