The salient point of my post had only to do with the (in my mind at least) rather BAD timing of this action! Why couldn't they have chosen Saturday, April 16th? That would have provided a weekend window of opportunity for people to see how well the upgrade went! Do you not agree?


The date is essentially irrelevant.  Just turn off automatic updates.
