1) With W95 (yes, a long time ago), to be able to record voice was easy: only
have to plug in my microphone.
2) Now I have a PC with Windows XP without Microsoft Office (Word, ...)
because of my budget.
I plugged in my microphone and no possibility to record the voice. I have
gone through the help and tried what was suggested
2.1) Control Panel:
Open Speech in Control Panel: OK
Select the Speech Recognition tab: This tab does not appear.
So, it seems that I have to install first Speech Recognition
2.2 Install speech recognition from MS Word 2002
I do not have Word
2.3 To install speech recognition using Add or Remove Programs
Open Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel: OK
Click Change or Remove Programs, click Microsoft Office XP, and then click
Change: Microsoft windows XP does not appear; only Windows XP Service pack 2
with only the option "remove"
Could somebody help me?
