Subfolders Are Always Available Offline - Article ID : 314918

I am running SP2 for XP Professional on an IBM ThinkPad T41 Pre-Load.
I have the My Documents folder redirected to a Win2K network share by way of
a login script run from a WinNT PDC.
I do NOT want the entire My Documents folder to be used offline. I would
like only selected sub-folders inside of that share to be able to be used
offline.
When I enable offline files the entire My Documents folder automatically
becomes offline enabled, including all sub-folders and files.
When I right-click on My Documents or any sub-folders and try to uncheck the
“Make Available Offline”, it won’t let me. It is grayed out. It is checked,
but
still grayed out.
This is basically saying that I have the My Documents folder redirected to a
network share (and setup to be used Offline), but everything else in that
folder (and subfolders) are now also available offline and I have no control
to change it.
According to the article 314918, the resolution to this problem is only
available as a hotfix from Microsoft. There is no link directly to download
it, and apparently Microsoft must be contacted directly in order to receive
it.
This article was written prior to the SP1 release, but I have SP2 installed
on several machines with the same problem occuring.
