frozen in task bar

I run a small utility in DOS mode in XP...no problems. However, when I run
the same utility in 2000, it goes blank, showing "fozen" on the task bar
button with a floating message "no video input". The utility is written in
TurboBasic. Any takers ??? Thanx !!!
