hello!
i am a new user, but i have been trying to get to the bottom of this for
some time and its pretty frustrating.
im running a dell latitude d600 with windows xp. my total processor speed
is 1600mhz, but it is running at 599mhz, even plugged in. some programs and
games i would like to run require a higher speed, but i cant figure out how
to adjust it. i read about the smartstep component of xp, but never learned
about if or how it can be manipulated. does anyone know about this?
thanks a million.
