Yeah, Firefox is definitely much faster than IE. And
ActiveX development deserves to die. It was warned
from day one that ActiveX was a security risk and it
has more than fulfilled that promise -- every single
thing that Microsoft has tried to beef its security
has failed. It was always a dumbass protocol that was
Microsoft's half-ass answer to Java. I would fire any
IT person who hasn't recommended a changeover to
Firefox and make all IE and ActiveX-specific apps
legacy products.
