Malke,
I just ordered a usb/firewire combo card that is listed as WHQL certified. I
intend to remove the old card, reboot, and not have the external FW. drive or
media reader hooked up going to SP2. I updated off the SP2 CD, this time I
think I'll let Windows Update try it's hand.
Last ditch will be another format, clean install, add SP2, then go from there.
Glad to hear I'm the only one having problems. But if you have IEEEb, that's
another issue!
