Your talking about booting a Windows XP operating system form a CD into
memory and continuing to run it there while you do other tasks to the hard
drive.
This not possible with the regular Windows XP products.
You require to use the latest version of Windows PE, however this is not
available to the general public and only to qualifying volume licensed
customers.
