ok, i hope someone can help. My computer kept freezing up so i tried doing a
system restore, it took it almost 1 hour to do it and when the compter
restarted, i got the windows xp screen then it went black. I could still
move the mouse arrow but, it would do nothing else. I had the same problem
after the sp1 was installed a few years ago and i had to reinstall windows.
Dell gave me the disks to do this, so knowing what to do, I attempted to
reinstall windows again but, it won't when it starts to read the windows cd,
it says press any key to continue and then after that i get this
error:INFfile txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing Status 1024. and that is
as far as it will go. Please help

I would be suprised if using System Restore (Start> Accessories> System ... meaning to delete the Windows Digital Media Enhancements.... managed to reinstall some but not these: "Sonic DVD and CD Burning", ...
