have u got "SP2" INSTALLED ON YOUR COMPUTER? if u have and ur disk is SP1
U will get conflicts...you will need a disk that has SP2 installed with it..u
should get an option that says "repair"....why it is asking for a new
bootsector i dont know...i have done it a few times myself and all i have
ever done is click "repair windows xp"
