I have the same problem with my Linksys until I changed the properties in
the NIC's "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties". I went to the "Alternate
Configuration" tab chose "USER configured" put in the IP, Subnet mask,
Default gateway, Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server. This fixed
my problem. As an after thought I also limited the DHCP services to 1
client range of IPs.
