My admin account icon disappeared from the login screen after installing
TurboTax and rebooting the next day. Environment is WinXP Home, SP2. I can
see and enter another limited account which was setup a long time ago, but I
can't install utilities (TweakUI) in there. Tried reboot in Safe Mode - the
login screen shows no accounts available. So I hit Ctrl+Alt+Del twice to
show type-in login window and tried my admin account credentials. Still
rejected. Just in case, I logged in by literally typing in
"administrator" - this got me in as a new guest account called
"administrator" without admin rights. Any suggestions for logging into my
admin account? Thank you.
