I have an IBM ThinkPad that I bought from a friend. It had Windows XP Pro on
it. I don't have much experience with XP. I deleted the user name and
couldn't log back into it. I bought Windows XP Home full edition to install
it and start fresh. I keep getting a cyclic redundancy error in the middle of
install and it fails. (D:\I386\asms) I try to go in and boot from the disk
and chose repair but when it asks for a password I simply click enter (the
manual said it should be blank) and I get a incorrect password box. After
three times I am ousted...any help?
