BS on top of BS only adds up to more BS.

XP Pro is _not_ built upon a "false MS-DOS". It is built upon a kernel that
was written from scratch separately from MS-DOS. command.com (NOT cmd.com,
or even cmd.exe) is thrown in for legacy support, but by no means is it the
base of the operating system. Rather, it's an application being run within
the OS. Big difference.

As for Windows 98, that is only a 32 bit patch for a 16 bit GUI running on
top of an 8 bit operating system designed for a 4 bit hardware architecture
by a 2 bit company who cannot withstand 1 bit of competition.

And for anyone who wants a maintenance mode for XP: http://www.ubcd4win.com/
