No need to re-install XP onto the drive before running Ghost. Set
your BIOS to boot from CD, plop in your Ghost CD, then restart. When
the CD boots, you execute the recovery from there using Ghost. It
will write your old partition/file system to the new drive, and in
much less time than installing windows then trying to use Ghost to
overwrite that installation - if that would even work.
