You can try turning off the e-mail Protection service in Zone Alarm and see
if that helps

: Hello, All!
:
: Using XP Pro, latest version of ZAF and Outlook 2003 with all updates.
:
: Whenever I restart XP and then OL for the first time it opens and loads
all
: of the pst files in ~10 seconds. I then get the 'send/receive' notice in
the
: status bar and it takes from 45-90 seconds before it actually makes a
: connect with my POP3.
:
: I have found that the True Vector service is apparently causing this
: slowdown. With ZAF s/d and the True Vector service uninstalled the load
time
: is about the same but the connect takes less than 5 seconds.
:
: Anyone else have this problem? Any way to fix it?
:
: Thanks.
:
: With best regards, ColBlip. E-mail: colonel.blip@nospampleasebigfoot.com
