It's highly unlikely that your firewall would be the issue in this case,
especially with Windows Firewall. However, if you want to disable it to
satisfy your own curiousity, head to Control Panel > Windows Firewall, and
simply turn it off (and then back on, once complete).

A more likely scenario is that you don't have cookies enabled, or that your
clock is actually wrong. You can check to see if cookies are enabled under
Tools > Internet Options in IE, and change your clock from the taskbar if
necessary.
