Someone has posted some files online for download via FTP. All it
requires is a username (provided) and no password. From work, I
entered the FTP address (ftp://65...etc) in the address bar, supplied
the user name when prompted (leaving password blank) and a list of
files came up in an IE folder window for download. No problem.
However when I try this from home, I am told I need a password before I
can get to the file listing. It appears (from memory) that the folder
is different though...more of an Explorer window rather than an IE
window (based on the menu items). Also tried using a dedicated FTP
program and I get the same message...password required. Confused? You
bet!
It takes to long to download from work, but I can't get my home
computer to connect...ideas?
